Food bank

Our Food Bank is open on Wednesdays by appointment starting Aug 27. Please call 204.239.7213 to book. We welcome individuals and families in need to access nutritious food in a respectful and supportive environment.

What to bring when registering for the first time:

• ID for everyone in your household
  (Health cards, driver’s license, passport, Manitoba ID card...)

• Something with your income
  (Pay stub, budget letter, or recent bank statement)

• If your ID doesn't have your current address
  (phone or hydro bill, or budget letter)

After registering, simply bring your ID each time you visit. You are eligible to access the Food Bank once every four weeks.

Remember to bring your own bags, cart, wagon or other means to transport your food. Food hampers may contain multiple bags/ boxes to take home.

When you come for your appointment, we will automatically book you for your next appointment in four weeks. 

If you miss your appointment, your name will not be automatically booked and you must call to get back on the list. Please note that we can be full, and it may take some time to book you again.

If you have specific dietary needs or require other items, such as diapers or baby formula, please let us know when you’re registering, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

While we try our best, we cannot guarantee the availability of products to accommodate all dietary restrictions. We are subject to the food provided to us by our donors and suppliers.
